2015 Holiday Makeup Look

December 16, 2015 - Posted by Mickey Tortorelli

Christmas time is the best time to glam up your makeup. Not only that, but a flawless application will sure entice your customers and have them asking you for the products you've used. It's the perfect opportunity to promote the cosmetic products that you used and give them your personal tips on makeup application.

You can never go wrong with a festive red lip and winged liner, and it's definitely our favourite look - simple yet elegant and perfect for work and parties! For tips on getting this holiday look, watch the COVERGIRL tutorial below:

Products used:

  • COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Luminous Foundation
  • COVERGIRL Eyeshadow Quads (Blooming Blushes #720)
  • COVERGIRL Intensify Me! Liquid Eyeliner
  • COVERGIRL Lashblast Volume Waterproof Mascara
  • COVERGIRL Cheekers Blush (Natural Rose #148)
  • COVERGIRL Outlast Longwear Lipstick (Fireball #910)

Additional tips:

  • Want a more dramatic look? Darken the outer corners of your eyes and don't be afraid to use shimmers or glitters for the centre of your lids. Pop on some false lashes to open up your eyes to intensify the look even more!
  • If you tend to get dry patches during the winter, use a hydrating primer before you apply any foundation to create a smooth canvas that stays hydrated throughout the day
  • Don't neglect your nails - pick a colour that will compliment your makeup to complete the look. If you're feeling fancy, you can also incorporate festive designs like candy stripes, snowflakes, and sparkly gems
  • Have fun with your makeup! Take this opportunity to try something new this Christmas and put in your personal spin - don't be afraid to go bold!

We would love to see your versions of the holiday makeup look so do send us pictures on Facebook or tweet us @beauteschool!

“I have been selling CHANEL fragrances for years but have never taken an in-depth course and learned more about the fragrances. To have an opportunity directly from the CHANEL company to learn more was a great opportunity.”
