WHAT'S IN YOUR MAKEUP BAG? - Tiffany Leung

January 19, 2016 - Posted by Mickey Tortorelli

Packing what you’ll tote around with you all day is about choice and purpose. It’s about knowing the difference between what you want and what you need.

BeauteSchool.com asked women of all ages and lifestyles “What’s In Your Makeup Bag” - their daily beauty essentials that they can’t live without and why.

This month, we asked Tiffany Leung, our Marketing and Training Coordinator what she keeps in her makeup bag!

MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick Foundation in Soft Sand (120)
My current holy grail foundation! Although it is a stick foundation, it blends out really well and still gives a natural finish (it was made for 4K technology afterall). On my lazy days, it does a good job doubling up as a concealer for quick spot cover ups.

KOJI Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner Pen in Deep Black
I've been using this eyeliner for as long as I remember. It has a super fine brush tip which makes drawing the wings a breeze. So far this has been the only liner that doesn't budge or smudge for me and stays a solid black colour all day. The best part is it comes off so easily at the end of the day with just warm water! Crazy right?

THE FACE SHOP Lovely ME:EX Design My Eyebrow (Auto) in Brown (04)
This was an accidental find and impulse buy for me (yes, it was the moustache) but I've been loving it since. It twists out with a triangular tip, which gives me a lot of control to create perfect brows. The brush at the end also helps soften the colour for a natural look and tames my brow hairs. The only down side is that they're super popular and are always sold out in stores, so I snatch up a few for backup whenever I see them!

DIOR 5-Colour Eyeshadow in Bar (056)
I only bring this with me on days I need to change up my makeup look (e.g. going to weddings). I love the pigmentation of this palette and that I have everything I need to go from a day to evening look! My favourite is using the pearly white eye shadow for highlighting the inner corners of my eyes to freshen up my look instantly.

HOURGLASS Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light (Travel Size)
Super compact to take out and the powder gives a beautiful shimmer finish, without looking glittery like the other shades in the line! I love applying this to my cheek bones, down my nose, and cupid's bow for a glowing look.

FRESH SUGA(RED) Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15
I've been a supporter of (Red)® for a long time, which has been created to raise money and awareness for the fight to end AIDS. When I saw that Fresh partnered with them, I had to get this! The moisturizing and SPF15 formula of this lip treatment keeps my lips soft and protected whenever I go out.

ETUDE HOUSE Fresh Cherry Tint in #3
This lip tint is my go-to for when I just want some no-fuss colour on my lips. The orange bottle looks intense, but it applies as a very natural translucent tint on the lips and lasts quite a while before I need to reapply. The colour is buildable so I use it to create an ombre lip when I'm feeling fancy.

L'OCCITANE EN PROVENCE Cherry Blossom Hand Cream
My hands get chapped quite easily when the weather is dry, so this hand cream has been a life saver this season. I also love it's delicate cherry blossom scent that's not as overpowering as other floral hand creams I've used before.

RAE MORRIS #5 Flawless Shader Brush
This brush is super compact to bring on the go and is versatile enough for reapplying any highlight, contour or blush! The bristles are very soft on the face and it applies product evenly. Sometimes I use this for setting my foundation with translucent powder as well.
